Hi Ford Focus fanatics =)

The new Ford Focus 2008 website is online!

http://www.sociallifeaccelerator.com

And check out the teaser that was broadcasted for 2 weeks on canadian TV

http://youtube.com/watch?v=ac0z7YTvdKQ

Ford want people to feel that they are changing. The Lion-Man had gone from animal to social animal. The spot ends with the tag line,“The new redesigned 2008 Ford Focus is a real social life accelerator.”

the new focus is growing on me too, i agree too much chrome and that can be easily changed with a little bit of hard work, other than that its not all that bad

I was shocked to see a silver sedan drive by me yesterday (I was stopped at a light); shocked by the fact that I did a double take and didn't hate it - the silver color (is it still CD Silver?) hid those stupid fender "vents" pretty well...

too big? i agree on the fact that it's no tuner...but it looked pretty much like a smaller version of the sentra...which makes it really small...

problem A: The focus was never intended to be a tuner car! sorry, but it's the truth.

second thing, once you see a new 08 in person you're opinion might change, they aren't as big and town car-ish once you see them.

ALSO i saw an 08 without those funky chrome gills. and not it's not CD silver, well it is, but now it's name is "Silver Frost"

bottom of the line doesn't have them on the side. it's nothing more than a plastic peice though, so i'm sure they could probably be removed relatively easy, just as people take off the emblems and words to clean up the rear ends of the other years.

i'm still laughing at the salesman who told me last week that they were real vents to cool the engine compartment. said air circulated through there coming through the grille and out the side vents, lmao. obviously he didn't look and see its a solid plastic peice.
