you cant run a turbo on a itb set up uless you did some fab work....then idk if you caould ever do it....what i said was they should give you a turbo kit so you can sell it and make some money back

ya i think i would just charge the engine i got right now and put in suspension exhaust and several little luxury items for that amount of money.

9k would get me a few performace parts, but I wouldn't spend it on a new motor that isn't forced induction.

Would definitely rather have this over an FI system if I was actually going to race with the car. Turbos are OK for the street, but when the tenths count and you are driving on the edge an NA engine has many advantages.

Not to mention that they at about 10X cooler...

Also, think about this motor's application, running almost constantly at high rpms for relative long periods of time. A lot of that money has gone into making it extremely bulletproof to make sure you aren't buying a new engine over and over. Also, in midget races they don't really get a lot of airflow through the radiator, being sideways most of the time. So with a turbo engine you'd be running at max rpms constantly with very little airflow to cool the engine. That thing would be glowing red hot and losing power like a mofo in short order.
