Advice Required: Newer Focus or Better Spec?

Hello - I need some advice.

I am in the market for a new car and I've narrowed the choice down to a new Focus 1.6TDCi.

The problem is this - I've seen two cars, SAME PRICE, as follows:

1. 2005 Focus 1.6 TDCi Ghia

+ves
High spec
Ex-motability
22,000 miles

-ves
Only 6 months warranty left
2 years old
2 owners
Ex-motability!

2. 2007 Focus 1.6 TDCi Sport
+ves
14,000 motorway miles
1 owner
2 years warranty left

-ves
Low spec
High miles for the age
Re-sale value?

I need some advice on which I should get - I like the idea of the Ghia spec, quickclear windscreen, electric rear windows (no kids kicking the handles), chrome grille etc. but I also like the fact that the sport has some warranty left and is still only six months old. Again, both cars are the same price.

Any advice or thoughts?

Help much appreciated.

Dave
