'07 4dr SES 5spd need advice

My 00 ZTS is running fine, but my girlfriend's '93 Topaz is falling apart. She just called me and it looks like I'll be doing major drum brake work on drums that are so rusted they may crumble when I take them off...

Anyway, I found basically my dream car (if it were a ZX5, it'd be perfect) It's an almost new (under 7k miles) '07 SES sedan with a 5spd manual for just under 15k, but I'm a hell of a haggler. I'm afraid that if I miss out on these late '07s I might be stuck looking for a brand new car next year and paying 3k more for an 08 focus or even more for a Civic.

Any advice from an '07 owner or otherwise?

I'd sell you my '07 ZX5, 5 speed, S model though, 2700 miles. Its technically not up for sale but driving a little 4 banger is driving me insane. These cars have no power.

Price seems a little high to me. I ordered a new one last year with every option except I wanted the 5-speed. It has heated leather, side airbags, sunroof, upgraded stereo, etc. List was $18,680 and I paid $14,998 plus tax.

It's sold. They wanted to finance me at 9% for 6 years, and I wasn't having it.

I'm currently looking at a couple other 2007 SES 5spd's. They're hard to find for sale.
