Glass or lexan/plastic..

Who`s got the pre cut windows of plastic or lexan?? I would like to replace all with this for weight loss.. Except for the front.

If your driving on the street, check your laws. It may not be legal. I don't know of any. and a few pounds of weight saved may not be worth it at all.

also, unless you have a special coating, the Lexan will scratch easily

Law states only front windshield has to be d.o.t. saftey glass..There is a company that makes this stuff..I do not remember the name..But in some mags there is a add but they only have pre-fab and you must cut to your own size. I believe this is about a 85-90+ pound reduction in wieght....weight robs quick. I`m not worried about the scratches all are tinted

not that much weight reduction. but its weight, and i only know of them match for the hatch by FAL. might wanna contact them.

it's fal, scotty (mr.pressurized) has a hookup with FAL, we got fans, he can get the windows too. They look just like stock, u can tint em and they save something like 50 lbs on the zx3. How did I know squatch would come on with the answer for a ## related ?? You go buddy as will I...Full race would save 95+ but I`ll op for the full- the front with tint...Can you say 1/2 tank when its full!!!There is a auto cross here this sunday at the E-center..I`ll post some more about that race in the future..It`s a scca function I`m gonna have a ball at this one.!!!

You can take it to a glass shop or somthing and get them Mr-40 coated (I think thats the name of the coating) to get them scratch resistant.. But I would think a high quality window like that would already be coated with the stuff.
