Doesn't seem too far off the mark, but it's gotta go to the right seller. Most people wanting fox body drag cars don't start with ones that have 42,000 miles. That's insane for a 1990. The interior looks mint, the exterior looks great, and it's built to hook. T600 + LSD + gears + upgraded axles + suspension is all very good. It's probably only putting out about 250 whp (don't know my 5.0s very well, so someone can correct me), but a set of slicks and it's a 12 second car without breaking a sweat. Dunno about the dry kit, but if the engine can handle it, that'd put you in the 11s no problem.

So basically he's selling a super clean 1990 mustang that should run 11s. Of course, if you want an 11 second fox body, you can start with a high mileage runner and do it for half the price. Might not be the car for you, but it should pique the interest of a mustang lover.

I don't want a drag fox body. Just a nice, somewhat fast coupe, and I've always like Mustangs...that's why I was looking at this one, but if he is really expecting this much for it, it's out of my range. Damn...

Yeah, this car isn't really for you... the tranny and gears are gonna make it a bear to drive on the street, and it won't even feel that fast. This is strictly a 60' car, it'd probably get tore up by an SVTF on a 70-90 highway pull.

Its still not a collectors car.

Aftermarket parts hold no value on a cars resale to normal people.

So, no. its not worth 6 grand over KBB.

People like this are retarded.

Its reasonable for a very clean, low mileage example of a car thats usually beat to hell. All the mods are in the right places and the driveline stuff is done. Believe me, it pays to buy a clean, done car rather than deal with rust, bodywork, paint, whole new driveline, interior, etc.

Sounds good to me

That car is not set up for just 60' that car is set up to drag, roll race. Idk why he went w/ 28 spline instead of the 32 spline so you never need to upgrade. I know a mustang that roll races w/ the almost same drive train set up. she also runs 9`s in the quarter.

Oh and the cars asking price is about right. That is a low mileage car for that year. If you dont like it pass but no one likes a low baller!
