Not!

But it's interesting: the MKII Focus-based C30 scored 3rd, while the MKII Focus-based Speed3 placed 1st.

All about the fine tuning, evidently...

And where would THE REAL MKII FOCUS ST place?!?!?!? Damnit, we'll never know (unless, perhaps, we check the Euro enthusiast-mag sites).

But I betcha it'd be first.

Like they said, they prolly would have scored the C30 higher had it had the sport suspension and 18s. I think the tables would have turned on the MS3 GT had the subie been the STi.

Isnt the Euro ST more powerful than the C30 we have? with like 300 hp vs the 230 or w/e the c30 has....

This doesn't surprise me at all. I totally agreed with the little blurp about the Dodge. A mug a mother would slug (paraphrased). Ha ha. I love what the Dodge has to offer and it look really useful, but damn that thing is ugly. I know most people on this forum love the Mazdaspeed3 and so do I, so I'm glad it won. I don't agree too much with the WRX's review. I think that it's just as nice as a ride as the Mazda.

I didn't actually read the article yet...

I rented a Caliber when it first came out: crunchy, plasticky, and unrefined - even more disappointing than its looks. The Chevy HHR blows it away (rented one of those once, too). Can't imagine the SRT4 iteration can fix the fundamental flaws of the car. And, yeah, it's homely, too.
