what would you do

i want to keep my car, it has a link to me it was made the day of my birthday. I have done and still doing so much to the interior. So I want to help the engine a little. So the question is, after I have paid off my car I want to get a $12000 loan to boost up my car insead of getting a wole new car. Would you get a turbo, v-6 convertion, v-8 convertion, or what. if you had 12000 to boost your engine and the knowlegde and know how to take apart and put together your car what would you do?

I would do the V8, I already have the V8, just need 2 build it up and have all my car components changed to handle the V8.

you turbo guys think about this I am only going to get 70 to 80 more hp and 60lbs of tork. but for one or two thousand more I can have 300hp and 250lbs of tork. would you really still do the turbo? So you guys think I can keep up with almost everyone on the street with the turbo and some engine mods?

I just got done checking out those turbos and I am thinking about it more and more. So how did they get from 217 to 320 in the dyno testing. What is the diffrence between each one?

The legality of a V-8 swap to drive on the street is the issue. Most states require that the swap engine is the same year or newer than the car, and all the emission equipment be hooked up as it was from the doner car. So it gets very complicated. The turbo would be the way to go. And with the money you want to dump in it, you could get a replacement trany that is AWD capable and convert your focus to AWD.. now that would be cool. Burton racing in england has the trany for you.

WOW really, I could make my zx3 to a RS. That would be soooo cool man, wow. Burton racing huh, I am going to check this out. And you are right about the emissions I never thought about that part of it, and being in washinton it would be hard to do. So everyone thinks tom's turbo is the best? And how complicated would it be making my car AWD. Thats the one thing i am nerves about doing. I have never done that before.
