newbie attempting "power" focus

hey, im new to anything involving cars in general, i have 20k(canadian) that i want to put towards a focus and mods, my g-pa owns a ford dealership so i can get a focus for roughly 10k canadian new with dealer rebates and stuff. Now the thing i want to know is which would be the best with a 20k spending limit , to get a svt or zx3 ? as well as what mods i can spend the cash on for performance(more horses!). I have my heart set on a evo body kit, they look pretty good from what i seen, but other then that im not sure what to spend the money on lol i just read about the jackson racing supercharger, then 15min after i found that out you can get a turbo charger :D and i have no idea which is better. Any opinions would be great, i want the car to look good as well as be able to beat most stock cars around.

Get a ZX3. There's a ton of aftermarket parts. If you decide to rice the car out with a bodykit and all that nonsense you'll have to take off the SVT sideskirts, fascias, etc. I recomend the ZX3 because there are more parts out for it and you can build a mean ZX3 for less money. People are having great gains with the new 2.3L from aftermarket parts but there is no forced induction kits available yet. I recommend getting a used ZX3 since you're going to modify it and lose the warranty anyways.

For 200 whp, 1turbofocus has a new turbo kit that will make that kind of power for you. His site is www.focus-power.com

Feel free to ask questions in the various sections about performance or appearance etc.

Welcome to focus fanatics.

One thing: DO NOT RUSH. I know having a new car is awesome, and having a lot of money for mods is better, but trust me, do your research, keep up with the board, and get a sense of the parts and stuff available you can do before you do anything; it'll save you time, money, and you'll be able to build a better Focus because of it.
