PErformance automatice rip off ??

Okay i was looking at the online article of mmff project zx5 and they went to performance automatic and had a bit of a rebuild all they did was up the pressure with a reworked valve body and a torque converter made to work up a little higher revs.

At the end of the article they say it will be bale to handle a 100 shot, I am wrong in sating this sounds wierd ?

I was gonna go to PA for a build up for a NA Focus. The only problem I saw with them was when they were developing the new components, they had a little torque converter problems. These are normal for product develpment though.

I have had a GM T350 tranny rebuilt through them and also had an external ATX cooler added to my Contour. No problems.

Have you checked out the website? It has been a while since I looked at the Focus stuff but the website has all of the components.

When you raise the line pressure to firm the shift, you cause the trans to shift faster thereby reducing clutch wear and generating less heat.
Increasing the stall speed really only helps if you have done something to change the powerband of the motor. (cam, chip, etc.)
