Lightbulb Fun with High Voltage!

well i got this transformer that's rated at 15,000 volts @ 30ma. was used for the big outdoor neons on a building. this is enough to kill you or really eff you up. i wired it up and added 2 wires to create a jacobs ladder. please click below for a video demostrating it. luckily i caught my cat in time before she had a chance to get to close to it lol. throws about a 4" arc and it stands a little over 36" tall. i'm going to make a custom box and will make it maybe 4 feet tall soon then up on ebay it goes.

Well, it's made in France. So, that immediately makes it suspect.....

You didn't cook the cat and that's a good thing.

So, one question remains....

How do I fit that in the trunk of my focus and gain 100 HP?

Seriously, I am a "bashment of the schience buildin" kind of guy and I enjoy stuff like that.

yeah this thing is pretty big. wieghs probably as much as a battery. would be cool to hook it up to the chassis and watch as it arcs on a burgler trying to steal your car
