Many problems with my focus!! please help!!

Ok so you might have read my post about the O/D that went out. They had my car for almost a month and kept putting me off. I Fonally got it back the SECOND time and the Tranny is working fine. BUT they messed up my baring, they fixed it for free. And a weight in my front tire got knocked off, that Im almost positive Ford had something to do with again. No biggy, I had a new one put on. But know My rear rim is bent!!!! And they want $300 to fix it. There is a little road rash on the tire but nothing major. The car road fine up till my Ford service department got a hold of it. I filed a complaint with Ford motors co. and asked for a months payment on my car because they had it for so long and were giving me a run around. (I do still have a power train warranty on it). I dont know if there is any legal action I can take or wait. This car was 100% till I let Ford get a hold of it and now its falling apart......

you can always go up there and speak to a manager. as long as you are calm about things and don't just rant and swear at him or her.. they might just make sure u are taken care of. This stuff happens at dealerships all the time.

Tried it. We have been dealing with the manager the whole time and my grandparents went up there to talk to him and told him that they dont like the way they are lying to me and said if he doesnt straighten up they aren't gonna buy a car from him like they were about to. My grandparents know a lot of ppl around her and ppl that buy car. I've even talked to Ford Motor co. for crying out loud and they wont do anything to help me. Im so pissed at Ford.

after the service manager, your next stop should be to the Dealer principle, then to the owner. threatening not to buy another car means nothing to the srvc. manager, most dealerships are run in such a way that sales, parts, and service are technically three different companies, all owned by one parent company, the dealership itself. This means that the service manager doesn't give a flying F if the dealership looses another sale, esp since internally, most dealerships have depts that are at war with one another. There is little that Ford Motor Company can do, the dealership is just a franchise, not a part of the FOMOCO itself, and their concern over a 4-5 yr old car with only its powertrain warranty left, is almost nill. Esp if you can't prove that the wheel wasn't damaged before you brought it in. also, sometimes, once in a blue moon, wheel weights do come off. As far as them making a month's payment on your car... are you kidding me? If anyone is liable for that, its the dealer, not Ford. If they are asking for $300 to repair the rim, that means they are selling you a rim for $300, maybe you could just go to the junkyard and get a used one for a bit less.

ive already talked to ALL BRANCH MANAGERS at the dealership all the way up to FoMoCo customer service and one step up from that. I think she was the Ohio WV and PA. complaints manager. I think there is the same rim I have at a local junk yard for $75 which isnt bad i just would rather not but anymore money into this car, seeing I pay $500 a month for they car payment and insurance. It just ticks me off.
