we don't laugh at Rookie's we help them I was told to start with an cold air intake(about $170-$270) then go to Exhaust system (about $390-$450) and last An SCT Flash tuner from focussport ($390). so start with those in that order, If you get headers it will be loud as hell so just stick with the Exhaust system.

first list of initial mods: short throw shifter, intake, exhaust, throttle body, tranny mount...... any of those will give you a vast improvement. those are the mods right off hand that could be easily done. you'll be very happy with any and all of those! then maybe a drop also. i would hold off on a tuner untill you get some of the basics done first. from what i've read, it seems you should try to do as much as you can before the tune.

Yep, what jmotank said. Probably want to hold off on the tuner till you get the major go-fast mods done. Otherwise youll probably be spending time and money getting new tunes made.

Appearance mods, I would definately suggest tint, rims and a drop. The drop made the biggest visual impact on mine. Gets rid of the "stink bug" ass end up in the air look of the stock suspension.
