ok one question..

Whats better..... Rear wheel drive or front.... when your racing? I know that rear wheel drive is best for drifting..... But if rear wheel drive is the right choice is there any rear wheel drive conversion kits avabile?

"Racing" is still too broad of a term. They both have their advantages.

I would live a RWD Focus, but converting one would be a HUGE pain in the a$$.

RWD FWD and AWD all has their downsides as well as benefits in 'racing' list is too long to compile, mostly if you got to ask yourself which is better then just stick with FWD

When you actually figure out the differences through experience then you can think about conversion...if you want a quick rundown and enjoy racing you can always watch some initialD as they give you SOME info here and there ;)

yea FWD, RWD, AWD, all have pros and cons.... if u like to drift... RWD, if u want to dump the clutch lock up and take off and hug turns like no other.. AWD.... good low center handling and control.. go FWD... there not jus one thats better for racing.. racing is a very broad term.... like monkey said.. converting to RWD is jus entirely a HUGE pain in the ass

i dont know much about racing, but i have owned both a fwd (focus) and rwd (s-10) vehicle. i like the fwd in bad weather, (though i am sure i would like awd even more) i like the fwd when i am in a fast cornering, controlling mood. i like the rwd when i want a little less control and a little more wild. to fishtale around turns, especially U-s. that is some good fun.
