Where or who would you be buying it from? Run a car fax and check out the enigine bay look for any leaks. check out the oil level and hell even take it to a mechanic if your serious about getting it.

hell, id go for the svt....the zetec is a durable motor.....although i am quite fond of the duratec too(i wouldnt give up my st for any focus out there).....the only problem is youll be giving up your pimp sedan(not much of a fan of the zx3).....but this other car your after still is a proud member of the "Special Vehicle Team".....plus....plus....you can supercharge that bithch!.....youll make the best decision flea....you seem to be a smart guy.

Damn, no offense but for me 10k is too much for an 02 you can get a cheaper one with mods in here and even above that year.

Just my opinion, but I wouldn't get it.

Yes it's only 10,000 with 19,000 miles, but it won't have a waranty. Your current car does. Duratecs flow better then Zetecs. And if I'm not mistaken, isn't '02 the year they had all the problems with the VCT cam leaking oil at the valve cover. Something to do with the oil passage?

In the end though it is your decision. SVT's are nice, and there is a slightly larger aftermarket for them then the current Duratec, but it is a 5 year old car. If you were looking to get one and you didn't have a foucs yet I'd say go for it. But in essance you'd be kinda stepping down from your current car. Either way good luck.
