Hello Everyone just dropping in to say hello!

Hey i joined the forum since I became an owner of a wrecked 2002 blue ford focus se today. I wanted to make a parts list needed in the WTB forum but it will not let me! So I thought I would drop in here and say hello before I went to bed! I picked this car up for $1500 and I got almost all the parts to fix her. She is a beautiful blue with a nice stereo system from the previous owner. The previous owner even tinted all the windows for me. I am a ford fanatic I have owned 5 mustangs since I was 16 (now 28) and my present mustang is a 99 cobra vert. Well hello all.

Welcome to FF. That car looks pretty smashed in. Is the engine in good running shape or in need of a little TLC?

The engine is fine it didn't do anything other then cosmetic damage. The bumper and radiator were the biggest losers in the confrontation. The fame is slightly tweaked but it will be fine! If this was an 07 it would have been fixed and not totaled. It is a Daily Driver to keep the miles off the Mustang. I liked it because it has the 2.0 motor for gas mileage and the nice stereo system with tinted windows for the comforts! I hope the motor is fine it looks like it is all there. Could anyone tell me if the alternator mounts directly to the motor or is there a bracket?

Picture of the damage to the car. As you can see the frame is not damaged but the front bumper support is off the car. It looks way worst then it is! I will be working on it over the next few weeks so I will keep posting images as the work goes on.

Cool, welcome, and keep the pictures coming. If she is straight that doesn't look to bad.

No pictures but I did pick up some parts today!

I got a passenger side fender ($75), belt tensioner($25), alternator($25), and the plastic part to cover the upper radiator support! The junk yards here have tons of parts for these cars. That is cool since they wanted $150 for the alt at pep boys + a core charge.
