New Nissan safety feature on Skyline...

I really don't see how this will work until I stand out in front of one coming at 65mph, but hey....it should help boost sales once the Skyline comes out and watch it trickle down through the vehicle line up.

Awesome, now not only do you have a car hitting you, but you have a hood that is propelled towards your head/face with an explosive device.

I could see this being somewhat helpful for whiplash/neck injuries and whatnot, but I guess the bigger problem would be that people don't look both ways before crossing the road.

Still a neat concept either way. Hopefully it works as well as they plan.

so does this mean that you could take that pesky cat that keeps getting into your garbage at night, and place him on the hood of your car, kick your bumper thus hurling him into the next county so he'll never mess with your trash again?

I never thought that the JDM hood raise thingy would've sparked a safety mechanism...

Yea, idk, the whole hood flying into your face too, idk if id like that lol. Oh and i think the Skyline they are refering too is the new Infiniti G37 that we are getting here, since thats what it is called over there. Unless they are just testing the hood on the G37. But we shall see.

The Brits have been begging for front pedestrian airbags for a while now. Yet another stupid idea to save us from ourselves while costing millions of dollars.
