Gas N' Go caps????

I just have a question about the gas N' go caps......Is there a downfall to them or something? I thought they were a good idea. Then, once I realized they were only like $7.50, i thought to myself "at this price, why doesn't everyone have one?" I mean seriously, unscrewing/screwing the gas cap is the most tedious thing, and can be perminently eliminated for a few dollars. Does anyone have one of these? pros/cons?

Thanks
Mario

I'm not aware of these...explain further? Obviously, it's something that elimiates the need to screw on/off a cap, but what are the specifics?

Anyway, is unscrewing a gas cap really that tedious? I'm guessing the reason everybody doesn't have one is because it's not worth 7 bucks to skip that step.

But like I said, I have no idea what they are, exactly, so maybe they are worth the little bit of money...

Bat Inc has them...page 7 on Exterior accesories...

you just put in the gas pump and pull it out when done.. avoids screwing and the possibility of getting fuel on ur hands.. I like the idea, and want one.

I think it's called lazyism.

beside it's probably not ment for cars that has a sensor that tells if the fuel cap is not on.

I wouldn't touch it.

I would say that you would always have a small leak detected code from your evap system. Even if not imediately that seal will deteriorate fast to at least develop a leak over time.

Come on man I am a fat tub of lard but I never thought twice about having to remove the cap. It is there and no big deal take it off fill put back on go.

I can usually have the thing off way before the pump is activated. there is no way that it would even save you any substantial time at the pump.

If you are looking for coolness factor then rock it I say.

^^^this is why i was asking. For a couple bucks it seemed like a nice easy mod. But I don't know much about the codes and what not, thus my reason for this question. now i know why people don't have them. Thanks

I had one.... only because it came with my billet fuel door.

great at first, with the smaller opening and my fat meat hooks, because getting the stock cap off is a bitch.

But eventually your gas cap light will keep coming on, and then come E-test time they don't pass there either

so now i'm back to the stock cap, but if you really want one i'll ship you mine for just the cost of shipping

I always thought they were cool idea but never cared to buy one....I could spend $7 on something more meaningful like a Chipotle burrito and chips.
