RWD Zetec

So, I looked online at some things. It appears that the zetec will bolt up to a ford T5.. Can anyone confirm? I'm thinking about a custom project (nothing to do with foci though)

Thinking about a zetec/T5 run off megasquirt.

I hear you there, but RWD focus has been done enough times.. I'd rather have an AWD focus than just a RWD one personally.

I'd much, much rather have a RWD Focus than an AWD. If it could be done within a reasonable cost, it'd be the best mod I can imagine for an already well-handling car, presupposing the rear suspension geometry could be maintained.

look here for the correct bellhousing for a Zetec or Duratec to a t5 or Tremec 5 speed.

That's pretty nifty. I've always wondered about what would be involved to put a zetec/duratec into an older rwd car. (volvo 240 + zetec + turbo = fun!) It'd be less hassle than a v8 swap in those, and with some moderate work - could be a clean, moderately fuel efficient toy with plenty of room under the hood.

Though, a rwd focus sedan with svt seats, and subdued styling would be pretty nice. If the handling geometry of the car is preserved (if not enhanced) it could give a 3 series a run for its money.
