F1 Season

What a wild season. I am happy to see BMW actually competitive again. The battle between MM and FR is amazing.

I do hate the tire rule though.

Random thoughts...

Jordan, i am kind of interested on what you think of the new tire rules 1 soft1 hard thing...

I don't really follow the sport but I like watching it whenever I can catch it. I'm curious about the tire rule though? Fill me in on that.

i wish there was a better way to watch rally racing. To me that is really the only interesting form of racing because, they do some crazy stuff. I mean if you look at nascar all you d is wait for a crash. Drag racing is over in 15 seconds and below. F1 is ok but i like rally much better

I agree, rally is good but F1 and SCCA are close seconds to me, lots of action. But it is a shame you can't really see it on TV any more.

anyone have an opinion on the new tire rule. I fine with only one manufacturer but running both a hard and soft in every race...no

i think the tire rule is rather retarded and probably wont even be around for 2008. every few years, the governing body comes up with one of these new rules that is going to "add some excitement and drama" but ends up as a failure. i tihnk that their aim with this particular rule was to increase the interest in pit strategy, but seriously, who really cares?

also, i want the tire war back.

(it feels so weird to be pulling for ferrari again. havent done that since irvine challenged hakkinen in 99.)

I honestly am so glad the tire war is gone. The domination by Ferrari and Bridgestone in the early 00 was just rediculous. And the 6 car US gp was even more bs. I think the FIA just wants to make a more exciting race and closer competition. I just have not been pleased with any of the tire rules lately. the rule in 05 with only one set was just flat out dumb.

It is going to be an intense season. I am disappointed in Kimi he isnt living up to his iceman name last weekend he made some mistakes. I want him to come to dominate with massa.

I don't like the tire rule either. It seems kind of gimmicky. I also don't care for the rev limit on all of the cars. Being a Ferrari fan, I too am a little disappointed in Kimi's driving. I agree with bigjordan that the tire rule will change.
