any input on the 2007 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V

Well guys, Its been two years since I've owned my ST, now with the weather about to warm up, I came down with the new car itch..I drove an 07 SI Civic...Loved it BTW!! now I came across the 07 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V

They are about 20 grand....Has anyone driven one? Because of my work schedule I cant get to the dealer until Wednesday so any feed back about this car would be welcome.

I have not, but I'd be interested to know what you think. It seems to be marketing to a slightly more relaxed demographic; its heavier and probably a more clumsy tool than the Civic SI. That said, I'm a fan of the interior shots, the styling in general, and having accessible power is always nice. Go track one down to drive and let us know what you think.

^ Not to start a debate that wasnt asked for; but that can be argued, depending on what you're looking for. There are benefits to the larger engine in the Spec-V, it should have a powercurve something like the D23 in your ST, only peaking some 50hp higher. You also grab a 6 speed tranny and a helical front LSD out of the deal. I think they MSRP a little over $20k, it's a decent piece for that money.

Is there a new car tax in NH?

I know the "Live Free or Die" state has no taxes on anything commonly bought except restaurant food and hotel rooms.. but what about cars?

BTW.. Yes I do want to have a place up there some day since you guys do a good job of keeping your leaders in check. Do you still tar and feather them if they don't act right?

Here's a review: I say, impressive torque.. but with all the Altimas running around with 3.5 V6's... why bother? There's your el cheapo hot rod Nissan! OF course, it doesn't have a catchy FAST name with an additional Spec Roman numeral to advertise it's testicular power, and it doesn't have other go fast goodies like the big wheels, big brakes, and LSD. Catch one at a redlight in the SE-R and see who ends up being smoked. My 2¢.

Here's the article:

Never a dull moment on FF. Wanna see something really funny, do a search for "VABRATION" (technical chat)... and my personal favorite "KICK ASS" (General chat, really old might be hard to find) I had some FF's fall out of their chairs with those.

I think I have successfully digressed this thread.
