Who here would consider a C-Max if Ford sold it here?

Just curious.

It's a chunky little wagon built on the MK2 focus platform, so it handles like a porky Focus, but it's roomy inside (5-passenger).

I'd buy one. My wife spotted one on her way home from work one day. It had Michigan Manufacturer tags. A boy can dream. She liked it, and started asking me about a "focus suv" that she saw.

Pity they don't sell them here yet. If they did, there'd be one in my driveway instead of my 07 zx3.

It is I think basically the Mazda 5 in Ford's name. I think it's pretty nifty - I wouldn't get one now, but say in 5 years or so when I'd probably have a tot to transport around - it'd be on my list of consideration.

Similar, but the 5 has 3 rows of seats and sliding doors.

If the C-max came here with the TDCi motor, I'd be on the waiting list for it. Heck, any diesel powered focus would be fine with me. A C-max with TDCi, factory nav system, ipod connectivity, sat radio, sunroof, leather, and all the other fixins - I'd pay the same for that as what people are paying for a comparable Escape. Just my $.02.

I wouldn't but my dad would, he's seen pictures of them in car mags and likes the design.
