Question Sell the rambler ---> buy SVTF?

I think I want to sell my 1961 AMC Rambler and buy a SVTF. I want to know in your opinions which is the best SVT to get?

the only downside is it was supose to be a project between my dad and I and I kinda feel bad for selling it. The problem is no one out there re-pops the parts for it and finding NOS parts is impossible, so the project wouldn't go anywhere.

Thanks a lot.

nothings really changed since this time in july ish.
Its just BAH really you know. I wanted to do the work but I dont have the skills to do sheet metal work ect. And I have a picture in my mind of what it shoudn't look like if done poorly.

The main problem is the body the old fashion bondo over rust cure. I only bought it for 1000.00 so I was thinking i could ebay it for around 3-4k.

Technically, the rarest SVTF in terms of numbers built would be a 4-door Comp Orange. However, its not like its going to be a high-value collector's car in a decade or two.

^^^actually the rarest SVT ever was the 2004 Infra Red 5door Euro. Only 29 were made.

To the O.P., an SVT would be nice, they are peppy little cars. If you do go with the SVT definately try and find a euro edition. It's a tough call to make for sure, but god knows what you may encounter with restoring the Rambler.

Plus you can always get the SVT and make that a project car and you and your dad can work on that one together.

Buy what YOU like. What's your favorite SVT color. Start there. Personally I only like the red or blue (exterior) with the standard interior...because the standard interior is red or blue. But any color with an EAP. But I don't like the EAP wheels. But these are just my opinions. They're all nice and right now there seems to be several of them for sale here. You might find yourself in a strong buyers market and get a good deal.

I've thought about selling mine but it's worth more to me than it is to anybody else...but that's OK 'cause I like it more everyday...could never replace for what the book says it's worth. The SVT is the most bang for the buck (IMHO).

This happened just today. I found something that I may want to buy. Would you be interested in one of the most complete and cleanest SVT's around? I may be selling. I really never thought that I would, but i May after today's outing.
