Talking Is this what were missing???

So i was in town yesterday car shopping for a friend, when i pass by the Volvo/Porsche/Landrover dealership of Halifax. So I pull in just to see what they had in the lot, when i notice a very nice looking black Volvo C30 T5 with the apperance package. So i get out of the focus, and take a walkaround. very nice and cleen looking, although the hatch and taillights are a little strange looking but overall a nice car.
So out comes one of the salesmen(nice guy) and he asks me if i would like to know anything about the car, and i said yeah shure. So he procedes to show me all the features of the car(nicely equipped i must say) which had all the sports package options. He then shows me the engine compartment containing the 5 cyl turbo motor mated to the 6speed transmission(nice).
He then hands me the keys and says , start her up, okay, sounds nice. He continues showing me options...................eventually he said, lets take her out for a spin. So now im driving around halifax(extreamly nice feeling car), and he points out an deserted industrial road with nothing in sight for miles s, so i turn down and he says "my eyes are shut, have fun".....?????????........WTF....sweet!!!!!!!
All i have to say after that is i have a new respect for Volvo's
In conclusion the Volvo C30 t5 is a powerfull,and agile car .

my only question is. Is that what were missing in the MKII focus ST!!!!! WTF Ford .
sorry about the novel.

~225 for the C30...and they are FWD. They are currently pushing a moderate amount of boost, and with a controller and/or new turbo, intercooler and some larger piping you could likely be easily in the 350whp range.

It's a bit heavier than the ST, and the stock suspension parts are a bit more "luxury" than "sport," but overall it is nearly the same car with new skin.

a more conservative ST if I say. Although IMO the rear has much to be desired.

i think i am going to test drive one this weekend i am very interested-- but yeah it is a tuned down version of the st-- i st is more aggressive in every way - the volvo is sporty with a more inclination leaning towards luxury

The Volvo looks 100 times better than the ST. The ST looks like a newer version of an 80's Saab hatch. Please don't misunderstand me, the ST is great. The Volvo is just greater all the way around. That's my dime.

Yeah i asked about the AWD, and the dealer said Volvo was doing some kind of R&D.
and i personally love the idea of 5cyl turbo
