Lightbulb trade in

I bought my 2007 zx3 from a dealership back in october of 2006. I still owe alot of money, i bought it and it was stickered at 14,000. So i owe about 14,000 lol. Would the dealership take the car back and trade it in for a SVT focus (doenst matter what year). Just wondering because ive taken my car back to ford for power steering (2 times, and still have the problem), and some clutch and tranny problems, so im getting tired of it and want more power any way, does anyone know if ford dealerships take trades like that?

i been hearing an ad on the radio of a dealership around me that says "We take any trade ins, no matter how much you owe. You could owe twice as much as its worth and we still take trade in's"

wouldnt that mean i can trade my car for a svt foci?

im sure they would want some up front money to balance the finances...plus your interest and monthly payment would make even donald trump cringe. listen bro, you got a very pimp car right now...are you sure you want an older svt?

that ad, iv called that before, they pay off your loan on the car and add the ammount they pay off to the total of the car you buy. so if the car you want is 10,000 and you owe 14,000 on the car you trade, they pay the 14 off and you now owe them 24,000. they make out on you big time for doing that because the interest on 24K is alot more than interest on 10K. dont do it man. make your car fast or fix it, the svt isnt worth that much debt.

Well, almost any dealer will take a car you still owe on as trade. Like ohio said, they add whatever you owe to the new lease amount, subtract the trade value and your left with the balance. On a new car that youve made hardly any payments, your gonna get raped.

Only really does much good on an expensive car, that youre upside down only like 6 grand.

sort of OhioZX3. It wouldn't be 24k. Say they give you 9 grand for that car, they will put the extra 5k on top of the loan so now that 14k car would be 19k.

wait till u have the 3rd problem with the power steering and return the car under the Lemon law. that way u wont get screwed on what u owe, and you might be able to work out getting an SVT instead of a straight up replacemnet for your car.
