Hi, New here. I have a pricing question. I am in the market for a new ZX3 SE, stick and have been doing internet shopping. Best prices offered so far are about 200 over invoice plus 2500 cash back.
Due to the model year end I feel I can get a better price than this. Especially since the dealerships in my are have plenty of Foci on their lots. Any suggestions on price to pay from previous experience would be great.

I'm getting offers around $11,900 after rebates, I qualify for two more $500 rebates that will lower it even more. This is for a 2007 Zx3 SE w/ sport group, Conv. pack and saftey pack stick shift.

The MSRP is $16,710. As of this morning I'm getting it for $11,424 after the $3000 rebates + $500 college grad/student rebate and there is another $500 first time car buyer down payment match that I'm going to let him know I heard about after I negotiate on my trade in.
Find like 20 ford dealerships, copy and paste the same email explaining specifically what you want. Make sure you make it clear that you want dollar amount offers, sometimes they'll just try to get you to come out and "talk." You'll get a good idea of what you should pay, and try to make them compete for your business. I've been doing it about 5-7days and I'm ready to buy. And research any available rebates on your own, sometimes they aren't very forth coming with them.

I appreciate the reply. I just started a couple of days ago and have only just started getting responses. Its good to know what to expect as far as a ballpark figure. I will definitely wait it out for a better deal.

I just got a brand new zx3 SE with the safety pkg, sunroof, 6 disc cd player, and a five speed for $500 below invoice and all applicable rebates. The window sticker was $16,770, invoice was $15,800. With the pricing we got, it was $15,300 before rebates. We got $1k in rebates plus the special financing (2.9% apr). All tolled, it wasn't a bad deal. We were locked into this particular dealer because my dead focus was stuck there and we didn't want to deal with the hassle of getting it towed to another dealer.
We're very happy with it so far. As for the deal, the special financing ended up saving us more money than the rebate would have.
