For a Friend

hey all, my friend has a 2002 accord coupe v6 and is thinking about purchasing some aftermarket equipment. what he has in mind is a K&N cai and a set of rims...

my first question is, he got all this priced out to about 1600 dollars after instal and what not... is that too much? also, i'm not too familar with honda and was wondering if he would need a splash guard for the cai (he's worried about hydrolock)?

thanks in advance

oh... and one last question, we both have auto's... who would win (2.0 D) ?

i dont think you freinds honda takes the intake down to the fenders. its more like a short ram. tire dealers usually wont charge you for install of rims if you buy them from them. as for pricing you would have to post brand and style of rims to start.

I dont think ANY ICW wheels are worth 1600 bucks!

I also agree with the above let him look at some honda forums they will know more about finding the cheapest parts.
