The only thing I like about them is the little rabbit badge on the back of the car. As my wife said, "it's kind of cute." I would rather look into a VW R32.

I saw one in person at VIP night before the Ft. Worth auto-show opened a couple of weeks ago. I thought It was alright. I really wasn't all that impressed with it, but that's just from sitting in it and looking at it. I have no idea how it performs. The interior felt cheap, not necessarily bad cheap but "you get what you pay for" kind of cheap. I think there might be better options for the price.

Edit: That and it was plain white with a mediocre pinstripe down the side too. Works for some cars but I think it made this one worse.

for some reason i really like them, only with the ground effects kit though. without they look kinda cheap to me. as far as performance, i've driven one of the jettas with the 2.5L and it was reasonably fun with 3 passengers so i can imagine that it would be pretty good in a lighter car with fewer passengers. test drive one, and if you decide that you like it order one with the options that you want.

almost-brother-in-law just bought one. I have to say that quality is absolutely out-standing on the new rabbit. Since they are 75% assembled in Germany and 10%+ japan...no mexico, they are put together very nicely...FAR FAR FAR better than that of the focus and probably as good as any european car out there. Even the civic is hard pressed to come anywhere near as good in quality as the new rabbit. I would definitely buy one! The motor is very torquey and probably pretty similar feeling to the 2.3 focus except smoother and faster for sure. It is above its class IMO.

I love the car, infact I technically have one since I got my fiance out of her 03 4cyl eclipse and into a gray 07 rabbit. It has the 2.5 5cyl 150 hp 170tq and its as nimble if not more than the SVT, definatly more than the standard focus. We picked up a nicely equipped 2 door 5spd for 15,000, thats power everything all types of traction and braking assisting. It has 10 air bags and MORE room than the focus, its really a nice car.

Oh and one more MAJOR PLUS, focus sport also runs Eurosport so I know I will get QUALITY products for the rabbit. On top of that eibach had a spring and damper set for the 06 rabbit almost as soon as it was realeased, it has a decent aftermarket so far and LOADS of potential.

^^ I like in the commercial where they keep multiplying, how there is a white one with different colored doors... Gotta love multicolored rabbits! I wonder if you can order one like that?
