Looking for the info on sho

I am looking at putting a 3.2L SHO engine in my Ford Focus ZX4 ST. I am wanting to know what exactly I would need to do to my car for that. Also what kind of Turbo/Super can I get with that? Any thoughts and opinions would be great as well. Thanks

whateber you do, don't use the auto tranny that comes with the 3.2 sho motor. If I am not mistaken, the manual sho motor was a 3.0, and the auto sho was a 3.2 just to keep the performance similiar with the transmissions.

why replace the ST engine with a SHO. buy a lesser focus to make that upgrade. The ST engine is nice on its own.

If youre going to go through all that, why not just turbo yours that you have now. Or do the V-8 SHO. But theyre only an auto.

Or why not get the engine and then Turbo it? You will get even more then just Turboing the 2.3L

Even with an LSD your going to have trouble making use of a turboed SHO engine in a Focus.

^^^ not a bad point... Also, there are guys on here making 300-340whp with turboed Focus motors. Zetecs mostly, I think, but I know for a fact you can get 260+ whp out of a FocusSport turboed 2.3. Would be a much simpler job than a SHO engine transplant. Maybe not as gratifying though.

edit: have a look: http://www.focussport.com/turbocharger.htm
