what do you think of a sleeper?

Okay...I've been pondering this over for awhile now. I like sleepers, cars that go faster than they look, that suprise people and catch them un-aware. Typically, your textbook "sleeper" is a car that looks stock but has it where it counts. But I've been thinking. After movies like The Fast and the Furious and such, lot's of people have been adding "ricey" stuff to their slow p.o.s'es and thinking they now have fast cars, trying to race people, and making the true sport compact enthusiest look like ricers in the eyes of others. So my question is, what do you think would make a better sleeper?

A) Bone stock focus. ZX3/ZX4/ZX5/Wagon. Turbo kit or supercharged, I/H/E, hiflow, built engine, LSD, etc. R-compound (or close to) tires on stock rims. Upgrade springs, struts, rollbars, brakes, etc. Basically a stock focus with the exeption of the exhaust tip and slightly lowered.

B) ZX3/ZX4/ZX5/Wagon. Again, built motor, turbo kit or S/C, I/H/E, etc. Big FMIC. Again, upgraded supension, brakes, LSD. 17 or 18" rims. Again, good tires. Full body kit (like an F2 RS, Roush, Saleen, etc). Wing. Neon underbodies. Race seats. Customized interior. Thumpin stereo. Stickers to advertise parts (like say, Falken, Eibach, AEM, MBRP/Borla/whatever, Streetglow/Lowglow/whatever, etc etc...)

I'm just thinking out loud I guess...

mines kinda close.... stock svt suspension. borla center exit, blacked out tails and 15% all around. euro svt rims. so only two real exterior mods. but u can see my a-pillar pod from outside. so that kinda gives it away

i think A would make a great sleeper, but it could have some nice clean looking rims maybe, or even svt rims. but if you dont really care about what the rims look like, a would be my definition of sleeper focus.

Sleeper ALL the way. In my opinion, you shouldn't be advertising what you have to the whole world. If you know your foci is putting down 300 whp or whatnot, then that's all the matters. Adding exterior mods just gains unwanted attention.

Not only that, isn't it just fun when people think "it's just a focus" and then you walk up and down them?
