saying good bye to modding the foci!!!!

welp its been a long time coming and i have decided to put my foot down...I know i was building the car, i had some thinking to do today and decided that i cant see putting 6,000+ into this car. I talked it over with the wife and she said that was the smartest thing she has heard out of my mouth in a long time. Now here comes the good part, i can buy a bridge port 13b build a crazy turbo set up....build a fire breathing v8 with a 101mm turbo.I dont know yet i am just going to keep saving my money and go from there.

I will be around the board still.

happy modding

At least you're wife shows some interest in your hobbies. My wife just rolls her f$%^#ing eyes and huffs and puffs. I wish I could find her pci slot so I can send out some money to Tom and have her re-tuned.

I just made the same decision last week. I need my focus to stay as reliable as possible and I'm not willing to drop close to the same amount on it to only get a little above 200hp. Hopefully I'll be able to get my hands on a CRX though this weekend.

I've run into that dilemma also. I have a setup that I like right now. I've gotten the engine work done that i've wanted and have no desire to do anything to the exterior, because I already like the way the car looks. It's about paid off, and I plan on keeping my car for quite a few more years. I just don't think that I want to do anything else to it. I feel you on this one, project2point.
