**i Want This Car So Bad It Hurts**56k Slits Own Throat

I am in love with this car. As a different type of fun factor- like a golf cart on steroids- 100% electric /$2.50 for 250-300 miles/ 3-4 hours to fully charge/ No maintenance, no gas costs, no oil changes ect../0 to 60 in 4 seconds/ 200 lbs ft of torque from 0 rpms- insane- yes its expensive but its my dream $70,000 to $100,000 and they are sold out till 2008. God why cant i be rich- check out their website for more info www.teslamotors.com tell me what you guys think of this- or better yet any one rode in or drove it and experienced the insane torque curve available from 0 rpms to 6000rpms--

Damn!!!, i must see it w/my eyes; as far i remember this cars have to use a pile of batts to work, i wonder how much miles can they go w/a single charge. Are they 110 volts?

250-300 miles on one charge and battery lasts over 100,000 miles - seriously $2.50 to travel 250 to 300 miles you cant beat that plus get to do it in something that looks that good and is that fun drive- they need to make more cars like this

LOL

You gotta see it this way though, it says 250-300 on one charge. How much of that is with spirited driving? Its like us focus owners driving the crap out of cars and only getting 24MPG instead of the rated 27. Getting a gas can and walking is easy, I'd LOVE to see a 3 mile long extension cord.

The car is awesom though all that power and no gas needed, its impressive just not practical.

i think i read somewhere they tested on car and driver or something and even with the way they drive it got 150-200 miles per charge

i mean can you just imagine the thrust and how it would feel to thrown back in your seat as soon as you slam on the gas"go" pedal- i mean 200 lbs ft from 0rpm's i bet it feels like a roller coaster- also the car is built on the lotus elise chassis/platform so you know it handles flawlessly
