Shell V-Power petrol

i am a great fan of shell V-Power n top up with it all the time. however the other day i was told that it is bad for your engine to use it all the time unless its a turbo. this is apparently because of the higher octain levels it has compareed with the standard unleaded 95 n 97, pushes down on ur cylinders much harder putin the engine under alot more preasure.

i just wanna know if this is true or if any of u lot have heard anthing like this before.

btw i have just set up a web forum for any ford owner to use and am lookin for you fellow focus owners to support my new site so if u would register that would be great. fastfordracing.co.uk

cheers

never heard of that before- but i wouldnt imagine it could be any higher octane than 93 which is the same as all the other premium gas out there except cali which is 91 but maybe somebody might know

That doesn't make sence. If it "pushed" down on your cylinders alot harder that would mean your making more power which is a good thing, not a bad.
