Sean Hyland cat-back SS exhaust pictures - FYI

As promised a while ago, I got this system for my fathers car...

The pipes are 2.25" diameter, and the tip is 3" diameter...

Don't know how much it weighs, but I suspect it's substantially lighter than stock.
In terms of noise, yes, it's louder than stock, but not that much - at highway speads (110-130km/h it's just a bit louder) - when *stepping on it*, the noise does pick-up...droning is not noticable...

It's something that is quite livable for short runs, however, I do not think I would want to drive the car across the Continent with it - it's just me (being a bit older than your average youngster...;(((...!).

In terms of additional power or torque, I did not notice any improvement nor lose in low end torque which is common with aftermarket cat-back systems.
He does not have any official dyno results, I do not think, but you could check with them.

The system is well made, and is nicely polished...
it comes with a 5 year warranty which is not bad considering the harsh Ontario Winter climate.

Let me know if I missed something you'd like to know...

Following are some pictures of the system, and other goodies found in his shop...

Since this Forum has a relatively strict picture size limit, I've posted them on the Roadfly Forum...

Here is the link...

http://bimmer.roadfly.org/bmw/forums...4936960-1.html

Hopefully, the admistrators of both Forums will not get too upset at me cross-linking the sites...

If anyone wants to post them on their own server, please let me know, and I'll e-mail them to you - just keep in mind that the pics are large - 1600x1200 each...

BTW, the link to Sean Hylands is...

and...
http://www.seanhylandfocus.com/

He's up here in Canada, just outside of Toronto, and does a fair bit of work on Fords - you might have seen his cars on various Speed Channel programmes...

Note that I'm NOT advertising or promoting his stuff - I'm just posting this as a benefit to fellow car enthusiasts...

Is that right?
Have no idea - you could be right!

Bosal has a plant in Kingston, Ontario - about 2 hours east of Toronto, but the bastards wouldn't sell me one, and they wouldn't supply me with names of their reps here in Ontario.
They said, i'd have to buy it in USA, then have it imported back here!!!!

DUMB!!!!
