Make the Dings go away

Hi All,

Iím new here but I did try to find any previous posts on this subject. I have a new 07 ZX5 and what bugs me the most is the ďDingĒ sounds when you have the keys in the ignition or have the lights on and open the door with the engine off. I havenít looked around to much on how to fix or should I say break it but itís so annoying to me. So any help would be great I hope itís something easy. Some of my old fords it was something as simple as to unplug a connector or remove a fuse

Thanks

i wouldnt do that if i were you...

one of these days your gonna forget your keys in your car, and then your gonna be pissed cauz there was no reminder for it...

i suppose what you could do is take the door trigger apart, and wire it so that it sees that its constantly connected.. that way it would think the door is shut all the time...

or just tape the trigger down....

either way.. i wouldnt do it

The only thing that bugs me is when my keys are in the ignition and I'm doing something with the door open. Other than that I like them, never left the lights on or left my keys in.
