does anyone know if an aftermarket air intake would void the warranty?

if something happens to ur car and ford says ur aftermarket part caused the problem, they have to prove that it caused the problem.

somethin like an aem cai that has a chance of sucking up water would happen to suck in water it would probaly be voided but besides that.no

You could always save your stock intake and put it on when you go to the dealer for service.

For instance, if your aftermarket intake rubbed a hole into a vaccum hose due to poor fitment, they can refuse warrenty work on that part.

but...

If your 6-CD changer jammed, they cannot blame your intake and refuse warrenty work.

u cant suck up a gallon of water with a bomz/aem intake then throw ur stocker on there and say u dont know what happened. they can tell by examining the filter, inside of the tube and what not if water has traveled through. my friend tried it :P
