Loser Used Car Dealer

Well, it's related to this site because they are trying to sell a Focus:
http://www.chooseyouritem.com/autos/...00/199510.html

But if you're trying to sell an '05 Saleen for 20K you might want to figure out that it's NOT spelled "Saline"...

The reason that I noticed it was I was doing a google search for some other Focus stuff and it came up as "Saline" on the search. I thought maybe he got bit by his spell-checker (it happens), but the only place he has it wrong is in the description and the first sentence. Still, when you're trying to sell a car at a premium you should pay attention. I won't even delve into all the Saleen hype...

I really hate it when some people are completely ignorant and careless like that. I was looking around for body shops in my area to help me paint my SVT bumper, and one of the guys was a total ass. When I told him what I wanted to do, he immediately thought I was a riceburner enthusiast, looking to get a fiberglass custom bumper painted. Without letting me explain myself completely, he started throwing up an attitude.

When I finally got him to calm down, and explained to him that the SVT brand was from Ford, he agreed to help me out. I pulled my Focus up to the door so he could look through it. The entire time he tried finding reasons not to help me out, asking me about a trillion times whether I was sure an "STS" bumper would fit on my ZX3. I kept correcting him and told him it was SVT, but he insisted that it was STS, so I just gave up and left.

It seems like most salespeople have gotten so lazy that they'll just say or write anything down, in hopes of robbing a newbie buyer of all their cash. The more I see these judgemental and ignorant pricks behind the counters of stores/shops, the more I lose faith in honest businesses, actually wanting to help their customers out. It surprises me how any of these people stay in business.

Yeah, Moose, it's the pits when you actually know what you're talking about, but in one way I feel sorry for the body shop guys. Ya gotta wonder how many times they've been burned when some ricer comes in with his $150 fiberglass bumper and doesn't want to hear that there's a bunch of fitment issues besides just painting it and bolting it on the car (you can replace "fiberglass bumper" with "eBay Lambo doors" and get the same story).
Still, Ford parts is Ford parts. I just did the SVT bumper route (deer hit). Mine was the first one the shop had done, and things went very well...
