man now i know y i hated small cars

ok so i today i did my first oil change for my car, what a pain in the ass it was, first i buy the wrong oil, thought it took 5w-30, no it takes 5w-20, y i waited till i got home to look it up is my own fault but thats what i get, so then it took my like who knows how long to get that damn oil filter off, could it be harder to get to, it took me like 30mins to get it off, had to use some huge ass vice grips and destroyed the old oil filter so i finally go that done and well that was all really, but it was a lot easier to change the oil in my g/f's car and do the spark plugs today, and she drives a kia rio. just thought i would share the pointless story and to say if u got the extra time and money pay a dealer or a shop to change the oil its not werth the hassle to do it urself.

i thought that the svtf does take 5w-30 it's the regular zx3 that takes the 5w-20 so you were right when you bought the 5w-30!!!

there's 2 manuals that come with the SVTF, there's the one that's BIG and white and that's for the regular focus, there is a supplement book that tells excatly what the SVTF uses, from engine oil, to filter, and other things! you should haev 2 manuals! if you don't ask the dealer

Heh I just fork out the extra $21 every 3k because my dealership checks every fluid level in the car... fills any low. Does the complete oil change. Rotates and balances the tires, and runs it through their carwash. Its a pretty good deal considering... Or I could take it to another non ford dealer pay $15 for oil change $10 for rotate and balance then pay $7 at a local car wash. And im to lasy to get under my car and change the oil. And yeah Kias are easy as hell to change I had a kia spectra for a year and a half then got smart bought a jeep wrangler then traded that for a focus SVT... I dont keep shit long.

Peace!
