Unhappy My buddy had an accident

Got a call earlier today from my mom saying that my friend had been rear ended right in front of her work. He was turning into the parking lot to look at a 5.0 mustang when a jacked up, Toyota 4x4 slammed into his rear. It's not in too bad of shape, just depends on how much structure damage there is. He's ok though. Here's the pics.

Amazingly, the trunk still opens and locks. The pass rear door is now rubbing the quarter panel just a lil bit. Hopefully it's not totalled. I'll keep you guys posted.

Don't know about the car, the important thing is that your friend is OK!

wow, a bit of damage there. my guess would be rear quarter panel, trunk lid, bumper, tail light.

The panel gaps are troubling, changed panel gaps are apparently a good indication the structure (I'm not going to say frame, since we don't have one, but thats the idea) isn't true anymore. What year is the Focus?

I'd say it's gonna get totaled. Tell him to close his fuel door BEFORE he leave the gas station lol j/k. Glad to hear he's ok.

It's an 02. It should be fixable. I still have to tear it down and find out how bad the structure damage is.

The car IS totalled. Turns out there was more damage then what i saw the night i looked at it. It's also bent in right above the rear door where the top of the rear glass meets the roof.
