i think that the foglights are too square, and the taillights look like crap, but i like the tiburony looking vents on the side.

The article only mentions two engines, 20 (2.0 Liter?) and 20E (fuel economy).

I'm tired of their damn rear drum brakes. Melt all your excess inventory and sell it as scrap metal....drum brakes went out of style in the early 90's

Yup...so we won't even get a faux performance model like the current ST. I'm actually surprised that its being offered with a 5-speed, although that's just being based on conjecture since there's an interior picture that clearly shows a manual gear select and a clutch pedal. Like I said, they did to the Focus what they did to the Escort...ripped out its soul and now its being marketed to fleets and those looking for a run-of-the-mill daily commuter.

The coupe isn't half bad, id imagined some terrible things. The front does have some odd lines in it though. Interior looks nice, i dont care about stereo stuff at all... Ill hold my breath for a hi-po 2.3L, if not then its a c30 for me!

um, yeah....ion in the front, impala in the back......eh, the interior? ok, except for the center console is retarded, no easy aftermarket solution for us audiophiles out there who are dedicated to their personalized sound systems. dang...idk, i'm undecided...for now, there's no st, there's no hatch, the center console's stupid. they got rid of the most popular model, good job ford, you just lost my business....either way, i won't buy one, i'm goin to mazda next time, unless mazda does the same thing, then i'll cry, lol
Basically, it looks ok, but it's not my kind of car anymore

Once again Ford has tried too hard to make the car for everyone instead of making everyone for the car. That's why the first generation was so successful, because it was DIFFERENT. Even if it is unique in many ways, it still follows the same lame pattern as every other american car company.

i'll still give it a chance, but if they don't come out with an impressive performance version of that coupe, then my SVT will be the last Focus i'll probably ever buy.

At least until they decide to come around. siiiiiIIIGH
