were not doin anything wrong... its just a fact that honda engines outflow our engines considerably, making them able to produce much more power than us with relatively the same setups.

high horsepower low weight, thats hard to beat, of coarse we don't have and engine waiting to be swapped in on every block. We work for our power. Anyway as much as I hate to admit it those numbers are impressive.

Very nice #'s and undoubtedly worthwhile cars to modify, but I can't live with minimal torque like that.

I'm not seeing these lack of torque comments being justified on here. Show me a N/A Focus engine that makes considerably more torque than these engines. I'm impressed with some of the engines on there, with some making over 170 ft-lbs at the wheels. I'll be happy if my built 2.3l engine made that much torque, and these are 1.8l engines (+/- 0.2l)

Not to mention that some of these engine bays are amazing. I wish my engine bay looked like this:

Instead, I have a clusterbomb of wires and hoses, and thats after I reorganized it from the factory mess.

notice that most of them have built heads, high compression,etc.,etc.,etc
Most of those people are using quality parts that cost ALOT also.

if you look at just the bolt on cars, they dont do THAT good of power.
sure they can make more hp,but we are new, never know whos gonna do what yet, after some people start paying their cars off, maybe we will see some good n/a numbers.

The motor is a '95 jdm B16A
Here's the setup:
P72 w/crome pro(with a switch to turn back to the stock program)
Denso plugs & magnecore wires
Injen 3" CAI
DC4-1 Stainless header w/ 2.5" collector mod(with the usual dings)
2.5" custom mandrel exhaust w/mugen twin loop style muffler
exedy clutch and flywheel
Sun Auto ground & voltage stabilizer systems
154whp.110wtq
i know alot of i/h/e/t duratecs make that much hp,and around 40wtq more.thats the advantage of the displacement.

also, alof of the cars that are making good tq,are k20 or k24 motors,or built b18b motors(which have decent tq to begine with)if i was making 250whp,i def wouldn't want my tq to be in the 170-180 range.

theres a turbo honda up around here that makes like 450whp and around 300wtq..
