MPG question and A/C question

I was looking on autotrader.com and it says that the SVT can get 36mpg, have any of you been getting that kind of milage or even close to that? If you drive like a grandma is that even possible or just bad info?

Also my A/C does not blow very cold, almost the same as just cold air coming from the outside without activation of the A/C? Anyone else have this problem?

Sorry if these Q. have been addressed already...

I don't have an SVT but my car gets around 50-60mpg. But, I don't drive like a grandma but I don't drive like a lunatic either.

That means that your AC does not work. Take it back to the dealer.

Now hold on, do you drive downhill both ways to work?

Thats almost impossible to get with a gas powered car. Electric cars are starting to get 50+ mpg. How are you getting that kinda of gas milage?

i get 35-36 mpg on my spi with conservative driving, and mostly doing 60-65 in the freeway. i doubt that an svt could get that kind of milage.

as for the ac, take it in to get checked out. you should still be under waranty, right?

i am lucky to get 26 mpg...as for the ac..it is still cold as balls here so i don't know i'd say take it to the dealer and if they say it is ok then get the sub zero stuff which pushs out around 40 degree air

okay, well i don't really push my car or use a/c. here. i start on a full tank okay, then it takes me 69 miles to get down to 3/4 and so on.....it's not hard...maybe it's my gas that i use. i don't know. does it? i am new at this car stuff so maybe my numbers are wrong, but this is what i usually get. so maybe if someone else could help, it'd be nice. i'm confused on all this....but i am starting to think maybe i am wrong, most likely. oh well, probably freaked you all out. heheh.
