I got the basic 36k or 5 year warranty.
The ESP (extended service plan) was just to extend that and add more coverage at the low low cost of dollars per month. But it still expired as soon. It did cover stuff like brakes tires rims and clutches but for an ungodly amount

5yr . 120k sounds good until someone points out your not really getting that. the warranty you purchased started the day you purchased it (when you bought the car), not when the manufacturers warranty runs out. which means you really paid for nothing more than an extra 2 yrs 17000km (if my math was right converting), and thats if you didn't burn up all the mileage in the first three years.
not to mention, most all those warranties carry a deductible also (usually $100). so if its something simple and not going to cost at least a couple hundred to fix, you're better off fixing yourself anyway.

Ford's standard warranty is 5 years/100,000km on powertrain and 3 years/60,000km on everything else.

So I paid $2,000 for an to extend both, the powertrain and everything else to a total of 5 years/120,000km from the day I bought the car (yesterday).

I'm completely fine with paying $1,000 per year in warranty. Shit breaks, and it is usually expensive to fix.

I agree about the deductible and using warranty depending on the price of the fix.

Sounds pretty fair. Nice about the 0%/72 months financing-I hope you didn't put much down on it. That's like free money!

I know but it did not. They also subbed my loan to Wells Fargo instead of ford like they initially said. But I only had $500 down.

You can either opt for 0% or the rebate you cannot get both. Sounds like they gave you the cash rebate and went through WF for a lower rate. In the end you're probably paying less than the 0% option.

I bought my 13 focus SE SFE 15,450 OTD (no extended warranty etc.) 2.13% APR for 60 months. So,28k OTD is a bit much, even with extras, but enjoy your car and i hope you like it
