Need Help Locating a 2.0 SVT Engine

Hello, I am a new owner of a Silver 03 Ford Focus SVT with 32k and no engine as of the moment. But I bought the car for a whopping 3500 dollars!!!! It is in mint condition, no a flaw on this car except the previous owner had a JR supercharger on it and blew a hole in #4 piston. I would rather like to get a long block for this car but really havent found anything on the internet who sells used or remaned engines for this model. Can anyone help me out? please email me at teamamp@adelphia.net

Good luck with that....your best bet would be to find a salvaged SVTF on eBay or something.

You might just have to settle with a stock Zetec. One of the drawbacks of buying an SVT with a blown engine.

Then again, you might have to resort to asking the dealer for a brand-spankin new SVT block.

There was just one on Ebay the other day... just checked and it isn't there anymore. He was asking about $3000 for the engine and tranny, with about 48K miles on it if I remember correctly. Not sure if it sold or ran out of time. Like Dazada said, try and find a salvaged one. There was one that was in a salvage yard up here for being rolled, but the engine was pulled right away. It's been pretty much cleaned out now. Good Luck!

Carry on!

Chad
