Smile WoW what a Bodyshop!!!!

Two weeks ago I bought a 2007 focus ses 4 door. I was bitching to you guy's about the paint chip on the bumper and how the check engin light came on after five miles (only a pinched wire). Well I took the car in to the dealer for the paint chip on the bumper and spoke to the body shop manager I asked him if he thought he could spray the chrome on my grill my body color pitch black clearcoat. He said he would try. Also I asked him if he would de-badge my car since he has a heat gun and if he messed it up he could paint it. Well he had my car for 4 days and I had a free ford taurs loaner car. When I went back everything looked great and I found my grill in my trunk! Here he put on a brand new grill for a 2007 black focus ST. and he didn't charge me anything. I slipped him $50.00 but this kind of treatment is very unusual for a dealer. Anybody want to buy a brand new 2007 focus grill chrome around the edge and silver in the middle with the ford emblem?

Gary

I say Wow to you, for taking that risk. I would never let a dealership bodyshop touch a new vehicle for purely aesthetic purposes - lots of bad experiences with that.

But, I'm glad they did a good job for you! You were very fortunate.

and it just goes to show you that the majority of dealers are very honest, if not downright accomodating.

Good customer service like that is hard to come by. You should let everybody know who it is.
