I checked out the 2008 Focus today. I can't say much, but I can say the title of the article is accurate.

2008 North American Focus

FocusDoc,

Since you have seen the new 2008 Focus and can't say much, what can you say about it?

When will get to see the first official pictures?

Thank you in advance for any opinions or information you can share.

Igor,

Assuming your test mule photo is how the 2008 is really going to end up, the white mesh over the tail lights seems to indicate body style changes with the tails closer in form to the Fusion than those of the current Focus.

Ford is supposed to make some product announcements in September. They have supposedly accellerated they're Way Forward timeline.

I just took my 2006 ZX4 SES in for an oil change today. I handed the service manager the article about the update / reflash whatever. They checked it out and found an update. Anyway, they updated the cars computer and placed a sticker under the hood with the update code. I asked the service manager if this update is the one that increases the MPG to match the 2007's and he said "Yes it is" Here is the code; I had the service manager write it down for me.

UPDATE 6U7A-12A650 BNA

If any of you use this code, make sure they check it out and make sure its the correct code for your Focus. I'm just going by what I was told by my local Ford dealer service manager.

They put the sticker on the top surface of the metal framework that goes across the front of the car, behind the grill. Whatever that is called. The sticker has the code number and a dealership number also.
