car just broken into

Well, I woke up this morning to go to PT. And I noticed that my stereo was ripped half way out. I didnt hear my speakers power up either so I popped the trunk. Low and behold, they were stolen. So i called the police. They came out with the K-9 unit and tried to take finger prints. But with all the moisture and the ridged interior, they were not able to get any prints.

To make matters worse, I had just finished hooking up my car. Put the F2 widebody kit on it and repainted the entire car black. Seems whoever broke in didnt care for the color and ruined my paint job. I *JUST* picked it up from the paintshop yesterday.

I'm off to go buy a firearm and hunt down some lowlife scumbag. Just had to vent.

i know how you feel i had my stereo stolen just like that and when the police came them smeared that powder all over the car when it was wet and then said he couldnt get any finger prints so he packed his stuff up and drove a few feet away and yelled back you might want to wash that powder of or it will stay on. so i got screwed had my stereo stolen and had to get the car washed

I had my firebird broken into, whoever it was ,was trying to steal the car and they couldn't figure out how to so instead they just destoyed the interior by breaking the steering column and ripping out what seemed like all the wiring under the dash, and to make matters worse I didn't have it insured at the time because I wasn't driving it

PT huh...from the sound of it you are in the military. Did it happen on base or off? And where? In front of your house, dorms? Either way...if you dont get any redemption your insurance will cover all of the damage, sucks to wait for the shop do redo the process. I feel your pain bro. Sorry for the loss.
