Any difficulties w/ inspection w/ magnaflow?

I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with the 4" tip on the magnaflow exhaust.
I know the inspection guys in MA. are really anal sometimes and won't let anything over 3" pass. Anyone run into this?

Sounds real anal to me. The tip has no impact on emissions or anything...why would they even care if it was 3 or 4" do they say?

u kidding me? cripes! i thought the guys in CA were natzis. not sure about your laws, but in CA anything catback is legal so long as it's moderately quiet (and i've heard some people get away with pretty loud ones as well). why the hell would the size of the tip make a difference? stupid legislators with their stupid laws, i guess.

That is a new one. LOL.

It shouldn't really matter, I mean, I haven't gotten mine inspected yet and I've been told that as long as there wasn't any leaks in the exhaust it would pass. The tip thing sounds crazy.
