Focus suspension comparisons

How do the ZX3 S2 & SE suspensions compare to the SVT's suspension? Are they as stiff? How well will the ST handle?

From what I've heard, unless you upgrade a ZX3 suspension, an SVT will leave it for dead in the twisties.

I have driven the SVTF, its suspension is better than a ZX3's but it is not as good as an aftermarket suspension setup.

What about the S2 & SE? Don't these cars have a "European tuned" suspension?

I think all of the Foci have 'European-tuned suspensions'. The SVTs is just better.

Actually the S2 did have a slightly lower stance from the factory. It was part of the Pkg. Didn't lower as much as the SVTF, but deff lower than standard.

I think the S2 has some of the same suspension pieces as the SVT but not all of them. There ain't nothing special about the SE, the LX has a lesser suspension setup so the "European tuned Suspension" is just marketing to make you want to get the SE instead of an LX.
