It's a Taurus.

If you mean it's based on the Taurus, it's not. It is based on the Fusion/Mondeo platform.

My mistake. Confused the product line with the MKS, which is a Taurus. One of the big problems with Lincoln is its confusing naming issues.

MKZ? What's that? It doesn't really connect. Continental? Oh, that's something.

When they 1st came out it was a Zephyer. The grille on the earlier mkx looked similiar to the jfk continentals. Whats up w/ the split grille on the Lincolns now? If your 6' or over your sitting next to the B pillar & that makes it a little difficulte to get in & out. The rear end Is cool thou. I like the interior also. I'd go for the 3.7 motor over the ecoboost 20.

I think it looks pretty good. I hope this doesn't make me an old man at 33 years old. Lincoln has a along way to go before they make vehicles that look as good as a Cadillac though. The CTS is a sexy beast. The ATS looks damn nice also.

My step father has a new Fusion SEL AWD loaded to the hilt - heated leather, navigation, sunroof, everything they offered. I've drive it and it's a beautiful car. It's impossible to imagine how the Lincoln could be more luxurious.

I personally liked the Zephyr better compared to this. I thought it was a classy, clean looking car. That and I love the name Zephyr.
